Fira Code Font was designed by Erik Spiekermann and Ralph du Carrois and released through the Google Fonts directory. It is a monospaced font with special ligatures for common programming multi-character combinations. This font family belongs to the sans serif typeface.
This saves valuable horizontal space, especially in code reviews and diff views, where every character counts. In addition to the standard ASCII characters, it includes the following ligatures. This font was used for the first time in 2008. This font is very close to the geo sans font.
