Vollkorn Font was designed by Friedrich Althausen for the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in 1995. The design began as sketches, with inspiration coming from old English and German types of the late nineteenth century.
Vollkorn’s em is shorter than average, while its x-height is about 20% larger than that of most popular text faces. This attractive typeface character is wider than the average font in order to pack more words on a line with narrower. This typeface is similar to Amasis font.
