The Lato font belongs to the sans-serif family and was created by Lukasz Dziedzic. Originally designed for a Polish Bank, the font was introduced when the bank revamped its style. Lato font is now available under the SIL open font license.
This font became the third-largest font after being added to the Google font. The font released by Google is very similar to the Carlitus font. It was unveiled in 2010, after which the font continued to climb to success.
