Gotham Font belongs to the sans serif font family and was created by typeface designers Tobias Frere Jones and Jesse Ragan in 2000. The font was originally commissioned by GQ Magazine, whose editors sought to create a geometric sans serif font that would be useful for their publication.
Gotham is a very large family. There are four widths and eight weights. This font was released by a company of Jonathan Hoefler “Hoefler & Co”. Jonathan Hoefler was the business partner of Frere-Jones. Many famous companies such as Taco Bell, Golf Galaxy, and Discovery Inc. are still using this font in their logos. This font is similar to the gotham medium font.
