Gentium Font was designed by Victor Gaultney in 2003, before being released to the public in 2005. This wonderful typeface belongs to the Serif typeface family. Initially developed for use by SIL International, Gentium quickly spread among users of Linux distributions supporting its open-source formats.
The family comprises four full fonts – regular, bold, italic, and bold italic font styles. It also comes with a small-caps font style using a stylistic set that was originally designed as a display face. The alternative font of this typeface is Google Sans Font.
