Avenir Font belongs to the geometric sans serif typeface family. It was created by the renowned typeface designer Adrian Frutiger. He crafted this font in 1987, and it was later released by Linotype in 1988. The word “Avenir” is of French origin and translates to “Future”.
Initially, this font was released in 1988. This version includes 3 weights. After some time this was expanded to 6 weights with roman and oblique versions. This sans-serif typeface can be use by pairing it with Times New Roman font.
